IntegraONE Hosts IoT Workshop at Tech Data; City of Tampa in Attendance
Allentown, June 7, 2018 — IntegraONE, the regional leader in technology infrastructure solutions and managed services, displayed its expertise in IoT, hosting a collaborative workshop on the topic at Tech Data in Tampa, Fl, on May 31st. The event was attended by industry clients including the city of Tampa, trading customer viewpoints, and participating in guided critical thinking workgroups. IntegraONE, which opened an innovative IoT practice in December of 2017, guided the conversation and introduced the benefits and value of this emerging technology in real business contexts, including at the city-wide level.
IoT is having a powerful effect on all industries, empowering every business to bring about a more personalized customer and employee experience, take advantage of cost savings, and gather deeper, data-driven insights. IntegraONE’s focus on the optimization of client strategy and the assessment of infrastructure — to ensure solutions are never underpowered and always secure — can be brought to bear in any client environment, including major cities like Tampa.
IntegraONE’s focus on IoT is rooted in a partnership with Tech Data. The two companies work together to leverage reach and efficiency, as well as deep regional ties and expertise, to help clients connect, grow, and advance. Marty Andrefski, describes the relationship as one built on mutual trust and reliance:
“The richness of our relationship with Tech Data stems from our shared mission to provide our clients exceptional service, applicable business insights, and skillful execution. We each bring a unique perspective to these goals, and can counsel one another as we work, individually and together, to achieve them. When IntegraONE was considering launching an IoT practice, Tech Data was a resource to us. They encouraged us to leverage our depth of knowledge in that area, to become one of few partners to establish a dedicated practice. Today, I am the president of the Tech Data Tech Select Advisory Council, and provide guidance to their leadership and vendor partners on topics and business challenges most relevant to the roughly 400 members.”
IoT is not a passing trend. The new technologies and opportunities it brings promise to fundamentally change businesses. As the case for adoption of IoT strategies grows stronger, IntegraONE will continue to share its expertise with clients, and encourage dialogue among practitioners through events such as this, equipping them to rise to the challenges IoT brings, and embrace the possibilities it opens.
